Longarm and Free Motion Quilting
I am a teacher located in Arlington, Texas. Please feel free to text me if you would like to make an appointment. I am also available to meet most Saturdays at Quilt Among Friends in Arlington. 817-563-5040. Thank you!
Pricing
2 cents/square inch (allover edge-to-edge design freemotion or pantograph)
Custom quilting starts at 4 cents/square inch. Price will depend on density of quilting and number of thread choices.
There will be an extra charge ($25), if I need to piece your backing fabric together. 108 inch wide backing fabric is recommended, but not required.
This price includes the thread and any pressing that I need to do before I begin the quilting. Please press your quilt top and backing before you give it me. Thanks!
Minimum price for any quilt: $60
Backing fabric is $23/yard (108 inch wide).
Batting ~ I will cut it off the bolt to the shortest possible length needed for your quilt. I need it to be 4 inches longer around all the sides of your quilt. Of course you can always supply your own batting.
Binding Prices: 20 cents/linear inch if I make the binding. 10 cents/linear inch if you provide the premade, pressed binding. I use my machine to attach the binding.
Batting Choices and Prices
Hobbs 80/20, white, 28 cents/linear inch (about $10/yard)
Fiber Co. 100% cotton, neutral color (I have to prewash and dry this batting per manufacturer's recommendations.) 30 cents/linear inch (about $10.80/yard)
Once the price is quoted to you, there won't be any additional charges.
Thanks so much.
Pantograph Choices
If I don't have a pantograph that you like, please let me know, and I will purchase the design that you prefer at no cost to you. I get most of my pantographs from Urban Elementz (www.urbanelementz.com). Thanks!

I wanted to share the steps to making the musical notes mug rugs that are currently on my Etsy account:
Step 1: Design the mug rug.
Step 2: Choose the fabrics and press them.
Step 3: Pin the fabric to the paper and sew.
Step 4: Cut the half square triangle units.
Step 5: Trim the corners.
Step 6: Tear out the papers and press open.
Step 7: Cut background fabric and sew.
Step 8: Sew the top pieces together.
Step 9: Cut the backing and batting, then quilt the top.
Step 10: Trim and square it up.
Step 11: Sew on the binding.
Step 12: Connect the ends of the binding, stitch and trim.
Step 13: Hand stitch the binding to the back and it's complete!
